The Association of Canadian Ergonomists, Atlantic Region, is holding its annual conference and workshop in Halifax, at the Lord Nelson Hotel, on March 11 &12th. The preliminary program and registration form is attached.

The 2010 Conference - “Creating Organizational Resilience & Competitiveness: a human-centred perspective” - March 12, 2010

Come and learn about the latest on how to design resilient and competitive organizations. The two internationally recognized experts in this field will present keynote addresses, which will be followed up by a speakers forum focusing on key lessons learned and practical approaches to improving organizational systems to help improve worker and organizational health and wellbeing.

The 2010 Workshop - “Bridging the Gap between Technical and Usable Design” - March 11, 2010

We are very happy and lucky to have Dr. Carolyn MacGregor, Director of the Usability and Interactive Technology Lab at the University of Waterloo coming to Halifax to put on this workshop.  Come and learn some of the "tools" and "approaches" for making sure that ‘things’ are well-designed and usable.
