The Nova Scotia Chapter is pleased to have Dr. Alexandre Pavlovski, P.Eng present on Project Scope Management and the Solar Industry of 2010.

Solar Industry 2010 - Technologies & Projects

Globally the solar industry has averaged 41% growth per year from 2001 through 2008, and this growth tends to accelerate. The presentation focuses on the issues related to project scope management for building-integrated and utility-scale solar energy applications. The major solar technologies and flagship projects in Canada and internationally are reviewed and examples of solar projects in Atlantic Canada presented.

Dr. Pavlovski is a professional engineer with over 30 years of expertise in renewable energy field. He holds a Master of Science, Applied Physics, and a Ph.D., Power Conversion degree, and diplomas and certificates in Environmental Policy and Innovations Management. Today, Dr. Pavlovski serves as President and CEO of Green Power Labs Inc., a clean energy engineering company. Dr. Pavlovski also chairs the Energy Advisory Council of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce, is a Board Member of the Canada Green Building Council - Atlantic Chapter, and a charter member of the Alternative & Renewable Energy Development Institute of the Association of Energy Engineers.
