Maximizing Your Strengths for Success

A CanWIT Teleforum
Wednesday, Nov. 24th at 12:30 p.m. EST
(1:30 p.m. AST, 10:30am MST, 9:30am PST)

How to maximize your strengths and improve your productivity, success, and happiness!

Join the CanWIT "Ask the Expert" Teleforum to discuss how to create a natural success path through your strengths. Gallup’s extensive research on "strengths" has shown that people that focus on their strengths are more successful and happy in their careers than those who try to improve upon their weaknesses. Those activities that make you "strong" are ones that you are naturally talented at and where you are most creative, innovative, and productive. This teleforum will help participants to determine and understand their top five strengths to succeed personally and in the workplace. Participants will complete the StrengthsFinder Test, an online self-assessment developed by Gallup prior to the session (once registered, details will be sent to you to complete the online self-assessment).

Learn to:

•1.     Understand your strengths

•2.     Incorporate strengths into the way you work

•3.     Use strengths to manage relationships

•4.     Understand the strengths of your employees, manager(s), and colleagues

Join the conversation and find out more with our guest expert, Melissa McCrae, an instructor at Simon Fraser University teaching Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour.
