Abstract:

CGI was founded in 1976. It has an annualized revenue of $4.5 billion and employs approximately 31,000 professionals in more than 125 offices worldwide. It is one of the largest independent IT and business process services companies, offering consulting, systems integration, management of IT and business functions and over 100 proprietary business solutions. Its expertise is focused on Financial Services, Government and Health Care, Telecommunications and Utilities, Retail and Distribution, and Manufacturing.

Speaker Bio:

Barb has over 30 years experience in Information Technology and joined CGI in September, 2004. At that time she and was responsible for the conversion work of Maritime Life’s Wealth Management systems to Manulife. In 2005, Barb began to focus on the delivery of Tier II Services for the Atlantic Global Delivery center, and about 2 years ago, she took overall responsibility for Resource Management and Recruiting for CGI’s Atlantic Business Unit. In addition, Barb is responsible for delivery of Development and Enhancement work for one of CGI’s Global Delivery Clients. Barb has a strong background in delivery of application support and maintenance, and has more than 20 years experience in the Life Insurance industry. She previously worked with Nova Scotia Power Corporation, and Maritime Life Assurance Company and Manufacturers Life. .
