ACOA/NSBI Trade Mission: Switzerland and Germany

The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI) are organizing a multi-sector trade mission to Switzerland and Germany. Companies have the option to participate in one or both portions of the trade mission. The first portion will take place in Switzerland from May 30 to June 1, 2011 with the option to continue on to Germany from June 1 to 3, 2011. Companies also have the option to participate in the Germany mission only.

• Both markets are home to key industries, including advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, clean technology, consumer products, natural resources, and agriculture and food.

Companies have the option to participate in one or both portions of the trade mission for a set fee of $500. Participants are responsible for the cost of round trip airfare, accommodations and meals.

All participants of the Switzerland and Germany trade mission are eligible to receive the services of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency Consulting Advisory Service as part of the registration fee.  The Consulting Advisory Service will provide participants with up to 40 hours of export mentoring consulting services.  Participants will be matched with a consultant best suited to meet their needs. *Important Notice:
Upon registration, you will receive a request to complete a company profile. On March 10 and 11, ACOA will be embarking on a marketing initiative in Switzerland. The purpose of the initiative is to generate interest for the participating companies prior to the mission from May 30 to June 1, 2011. If companies wish to be featured in the marketing initiative in Switzerland, please complete and submit the application form and a company profile (to be sent to you via e-mail) by no later than March 1, 2011. The company profile will be sent to you upon successful acceptance of the application.
