North to South: Trade Mission to the Carolina's Business-to-Business Program

The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI) are currently recruiting companies to participate in an upcoming trade mission to the Carolina states from October 25 to 28, 2011. The mission will be centered in Raleigh, NC, but will allow participating companies to explore opportunities in both North and South Carolina for maximum exposure in this exciting marketplace. The United States is Nova Scotia's largest export market receiving more than 78% of Nova Scotia's total exports. Export opportunities to the States of North and South Carolina, include, but are not limited to: • Aerospace and Defence • Biotechnology • Consumer Products • Agri-food, beverages, fish and seafood • Manufacturing • Environmental and energy equipment and technology • Professional Services As a participant of the trade mission, you will receive the following services: • A business matchmaker with expertise in doing business in the States of North and South Carolina who will identify business opportunities specific to your company. • Prior to the mission, the business matchmaker will set up one-on-one in-market meetings for you (up to a maximum of six) with potential leads. • Ground transportation to and from business meetings. • Networking events to assist you in market entry or expansion. All participants of the trade mission are eligible to receive the services of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency Consulting Advisory Service as part of their registration fee. The Consulting Advisory Service will provide participants with up to 40 hours of export mentoring consulting services. Participants will be matched with a consultant best suited to meet their needs. Apply for the trade mission now and you can take advantage of the export mentoring consulting services prior to travel and maximize your exposure in this market. The cost to participate in the program is $500.00. Participating companies are responsible for their costs of round-trip airfare, accommodations and meals. Space is limited. You must apply online before paying your registration.. Applications will be reviewed on a merit basis and applicants will be notified of acceptance.
