In Partnership with:

Springboard Atlantic, Digital Nova Scotia, NRC IRAP, innovacorp, ACOA
When: Wednesday, November 16, 2011, 9:00 am – 1:30 pm

Location: Atlantica Hotel, 1980 Robie Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Meet academic researchers who can respond to your company needs. Get new ideas for research collaborations off the ground. Springboard Atlantic will help identify academic researchers at Atlantic universities and colleges that are potentially suited to your research needs.

Company representatives will be given an opportunity to make brief 3-minute elevator-pitch presentations to highlight their industrial research interests to academic participants. Academic participants will, in turn, be invited to make similar pitches outlining their research capabilities for companies.

To help initiate new research projects responding to company needs, NSERC can provide qualifying new partnerships between Canadian university or college researchers and Canadian companies with up to $25,000 in support for a short-term R&D project that addresses a company-specific problem. No cash contribution from the industry partner is required.

To participate in this exciting event, please complete the company template (email for template) and RSVP by Friday, October 21, 2011 to nserc-atlantic@nserc-crsng.gc.ca.

You will also find more information on NSERC’s Engage Grant and the Mitacs Accelerate Program.
