Would you like to hear more about export opportunities to Atlanta, Georgia?  - A market worth $500 million in two-way trade with Atlantic Canada.

In preparation for the Council of Atlantic Premiers Trade Mission to Atlanta from February 6-8, 2012, Nova Scotia Business Inc. and Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada are inviting companies to an informative session on doing business in Atlanta. You will have a chance to learn about business opportunities and how to navigate the business culture in this growing market.  

During the session you will meet the trade professionals who can support you in this market, learn about initiatives and programs that can assist your business efforts and hear from the following guest speakers:
  • Jennifer Rosebrugh, Senior Trade Commissioner from Atlanta will talk about the opportunities in establishing business relationships with companies in the Greater Atlanta area.
  • Bruce MacLellan, Managing Director of Market Access International Canada, Inc. will present an overview of the opportunities in the Southeastern United States market
The Southeastern United States, as well as Atlanta, Georgia, provides significant export opportunities for companies in sectors such as Aerospace and Defense, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Agri-food Services and Ocean Technology.

The session will be held at the World Trade and Convention Centre, 1800 Argyle St, Suite 202 in Halifax on December 7th from 9am-12pm. There is no cost to participate. To register for this information session, please RSVP online by December 5th.
