Business 101 Series

Protecting Critical Data and Applications with a Disaster Recovery Plan

Featuring Rick Ranay and Ron Singer

Naturally, you have insurance for your business in case disaster strikes. But what about your data and applications? Would they be safe if a natural or human-induced disaster hit?

Rick Ranay and Ron Singer of ABM Integrated Solutions will be talking about Disaster Recovery protection for critical business data and applications, leveraging their experience with protecting their clients' data. Rick and Ron will also review the necessary considerations for choosing an appropriate data storage and recovery solution, including:

• What are your recovery objectives (RTO and RPO)?

• Where is your data located and stored (inside Canada)?

• Compliance with privacy laws for personally identifiable client data?

• Business continuity alternates and financial considerations due to downtime.
