Trade Mission to Lebanon - March 6 - 9, 2010
A gateway to more than 300 million consumers in the Middle East.
As the region’s trade hub, Lebanon is located at a crossroad between three continents. The country’s location, free market economy and long history of culture and trade make Lebanon an ideal place to do business.
Known as the financial, commercial and recreational centre of the Middle East, Lebanon offers a number of business opportunities.
Nova Scotia Business Inc. and the World Trade Centre Atlantic Canada are currently recruiting Nova Scotia companies to participate in a trade mission to Lebanon.
The mission will take place during Canada Week in Lebanon--a week that highlight Canada’s capabilities.
The mission is focused on the building and construction, food and beverage, and information communication technology sectors, but the mission is not limited to these industries.
As a trade mission participant, companies will be provided with:
• Business matchmaking services: An in-market expert will set up meetings tailored to your company’s specific goals and objectives with businesses in Lebanon
• In-market ground transportation
• Networking reception
The registration fee for the mission is $500 per company. Participants are responsible for the cost of round trip airfare, accommodation and meals.
To register, fill out the application form and return it to Jennifer Dunbar at firstname.lastname@example.org by December 17, 2010.
