This session will help calm your mind and decrease stress. It may even help decrease stiffness in your neck, shoulders and back.
Meet Katelyn, Registered Yoga Teacher
Katelyn is a passionate and self-driven Yoga Teacher.
Her goals are oriented towards health, wellness, and making a difference in the lives of others through the practice of yoga and meditation.
She is a student of life and she looks to connect through learning experiences. "Becoming a yoga teacher has helped me improve my life in numerous ways. It is far more than just physical exercise.
It can be a tool for self-improvement, a way to remember to breathe, gentle cultivation/ease for your mind, an aid to increase your focus, and it has the potential to help you heal your mind, body, and soul. Yoga has also taught me how to listen to my intuition and to take better care of my body."
Katelyn fell in love with yoga when she first started practicing in 2016. Halifax Yoga's 200 hr Teacher Training program helped her gain the anatomy skills that every yoga teacher should know and learn how to deliver sequences in the safest ways while being mindfully aware of the needs of the different individuals and the energy in the room.
She continues to develop her skills with ongoing teacher trainings and workshops. She is currently studying for her 500hr, Yin and meditation certifications.
