An often overlooked but critical aspect of SEO is the art of ‘building backlinks’. That is, getting other websites to link back to yours. When other high-authority and relevant websites are collaborating with yours, you can expect to see traffic benefits.

This workshop will take you through everything you need to know about backlinking, how to get them, and tracking results of your effort.

This workshop is perfect for any member of your team that is responsible for communications, PR or marketing. No prior SEO knowledge is required, but note that this workshop will not cover other aspects of SEO such as on-page optimization or keyword research.

This is a 2-part workshop, and registration includes both events.
Lunch will be included!

Takeaways from workshop session 1:

  • Understand what backlinks are and best practices to get them
  • How to select what content is worth backlinking and who to approach
  • How to write a compelling outreach email

Takeaways from workshop session 2:

  • Group review of participant outreach email
  • How to keep track of backlinking efforts in a simple but strategic way
