Paul Ryan is Director, Growth & Transition Capital, with BDC Capital. Paul provides high growth businesses with flexible financing for growth or working capital, an acquisition, a change of ownership, or refinancing. Based in Halifax, Paul has over 25 years of experience in commercial banking, specialized financing, staffing and recruitment, and technology sales with RBC, Radian6, Wooshiii, and Salesforce. Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Mary’s University, and in his spare time is the lead singer for his band, Club Sunday.


Rob Forsythe: Co-Founder and CEO, Milk Moovement


Based in Halifax, Canada, Rob Forsythe is Co-Founder and CEO of Milk Moovement. Milk Moovement provides cloud-based software for major players in the dairy supply, focused on building a more digital, profitable and sustainable dairy industry. To date, the software has over 2500 farms and 5000 drivers using the system weekly to operate their supply chains. The company currently manages approximately 15% of all US fluid milk through its integrated software. In April 2022, Milk Moovement raised a $26M Series A led by VMG Catalyst. Rob holds a B. Comm from Memorial University and an MBA from Saint Mary’s University. In 2020, he was named a Top 30 Under 30 Innovator in Atlantic Canada.
